Hop on board the Boston Belle for a cruise through nature




Catch a glimpse of wildlife in the Wash this spring.

Travel along the Witham to the Wash, back up the Welland to Fosdyke Bridge, with views edging the RSPB’s Frampton Marsh reserve.

The Wash coastline has some of the best saltmarsh and mudflats in the country, with cruises allowing you to see habitats and get up close to the birds.

“In previous seasons we have seen 108 species and average around 60 species per cruise,” organisers say.

“Sightings of waders include ringed plover, turnstone, dunlin, knot, redshank, black tailed and bar tailed godwit, as well as little egret, eider, marsh harrier, peregrine, terns, common buzzard, gannet and kingfisher.”

Cruises will run on:April 13 (9.30am), April 27 (9.30am), May 15 (1.30pm), May 29 (noon), June 29 (1pm), July 27 (11am), August 10 (11.30am), August 25 (10am), September 7 (9.45am), September 23 (10am), October 6 (8.45am), October 23(9.40am).

Tickets cost £25 and £11.50 (under 16s) with discounts for RSPB members at £22 (£10).
