Spalding-area events include bingo, gigs and quizzes

Here are some of the events taking place across the district over the coming weeks.

- Bingo at Cowbit Village Hall, Friday May 13. Doors at 6:30pm and eyes down at 7:30pm. £5 for 12 games. Contact Darren Harper on 07903 209126.

- Fleetwood Machine at South Holland Centre, Saturday May 14. Show starts at 7:30pm.

- One Eyed Cats at Spalding Services and Social Club, Saturday May 14. Doors at 7pm. Entrance for members £3 and £4 for non-members.

- Bob Morgan and Darren Knight in concert at Gedney Dyke Village Hall on Sunday, May 15. Doors open at 1:30pm for a 2:30pm start. Tickets are £10 and includes a buffet. Call Mary to book a seat on 01406 362782.

- Daphne’s Flight performing at South Holland Centre, Wednesday May 18 at 7:30pm.

- The Wash 2022 Seal and Birdwatching Cruises with RSPB South Lincs on the Boston Belle are taking place throughout the year. Upcoming dates are, Thursday, May 12 departing at 1pm, Thursday May 26 departing at 1pm, Thursday, June 9 departing at 11am, Thursday, June 23 departing at 11:30am, Friday. Cruises set off from Boston Marina and last around four and a half to five hours.Tickets for RSPB members are £20 for adults and £10 for children. - Pudding and Quiz Night at All Saint’s Church, Moulton on Friday, May 20 at 7pm. Entry is £5 for adults, £1 for school age children and free to pre-school children. Contact Pat Carlsson on 01406 373122

- Platinum Jubilee celebrations at Cowbit Playing Field, Saturday, June 4. From 1pm there will be an Adele tribute act, beer tent, fairground rides, a dog show, stalls and much more. Live bands from 6pm with food, licensed bar and fireworks.

- The Best in Comedy at South Holland Centre, Friday, June 10 at 8pm. Suzi Ruffell, Nick Helm and Matt Richardson will be performing.

- Little Miracles South Holland Charity Fun Day on Sunday, August 14 at Fun Farm Car Boot Field, Weston. Taking place between 11am and 4pm, there will be plenty of fun and games, face painting, stalls, entertainment and more. Entry is free. For more information call Liz on 07808 510105
